BM Musings

Pike has a lovely, rambling post here.  And while I’m at here, here’s some random thoughts on my part.

I haven’t gotten to play on my hunter much at all, to my dismay.  She’s been to ICC, but only to Saurfang.  And by only to Saurfang I mean that is the only boss she’s ever seen, because it’s the only boss I go DPS on.  Our typical plethora of healers has not appeared, thus not allowing me to hunter in clear conscience fort he whole shebang.   So for right now, my hunter gets to play stand in DPS for my fail!shadowpriesting.  /facepalm

I have no trouble holding my own in heroics, often sitting in the high 3k DPS range.  Last night in ToC10 I was chasing our top DPSers, and that was even without all the buffs that really make me shine (wtb sunder armor).  I will never beat a good MM/Surv hunter, but I’m no shame to my class, either.

Part of me is toying with the idea of picking up an MM spec (though I’m currently in a sort of bastard gemming scheme of half agi, half AP) and seeing what more I could do with THAT, but there’s some pride involved in having only a BM spec.  You look at me and know that I earned my gear in raids as BM. 

Also, I’m cheap, and would rather toss that 1k gold towards my shaman to dual spec her resto/ele.  >.>
